Geoff Gaunt, DMD

Dr. Gaunt, originally from Atlanta, Ga., received his B.S. degree from Auburn University, and his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama, School of Dentistry. Following a brief time in a Birmingham, Alabama office, and passing the Northeast Regional Dental Board, he began a private practice near Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Gaunt spent most of his eleven years there narrowing his practice focus and post- graduate education to the esthetic restoration of the teeth. In keeping with his philosophy to restore teeth to their most natural condition possible, as conservatively as possible, Dr. Gaunt decided in 1995 to remove silver fillings from his treatment options. In fact, whenever possible, he tries to use metal-free alternatives to restoring teeth. In 2002, Dr. Gunt brought this philosophy and his enthusiasm for dentistry to Dothan, Alabama, closer to home, where he and his wife, Lisa, desire to raise their three children (Drew 16, Aubrey 13, and Emery 10).

Dr. Gaunt is known by our patients for a genuine desire to help people obtain healthy, beautiful smiles ... an attitude easily evident in his ability to carefully listen, educate, and accurately discern his patient's individual wants and needs.

Staff

In our field, teamwork is essential. That is why part of our staff training involves 'cross training': learning the ins and outs of everyone else's roles so that we can anticipate needs, function efficiently, and support each other's efforts. However, what is even more important in dentistry is the ability to put ourselves in our patient's shoes, and that is what you will find when you visit our office. Not only are we strong on credentials, expertise, and efficiency ... but we are big on getting to know you, understanding things from your viewpoint, handling your concerns, and treating you with the same concern and consideration we have for our own families.

Jennifer Buntin

Jennifer Buntin has been Dr. Gaunt’s assistant since 2008. She entered the dental field in 2000, where she received her dental assisting certification in San Antonio, Texas. Jennifer loves meeting new people and has always loved to make people laugh. Patients enjoy their operative visits with Dr. Gaunt and Jennifer, as they tell silly jokes and riddles. After hours, Jennifer is a "Super Mom" of two beautiful children and enjoys family trips with them and her wonderful husband of six years.

She enjoys college football and is a huge Auburn Fan but still cheers for the Texas Longhorns. Shopping, reading and drinking coffee at Barnes and Noble are also in her top things to do.

Starla Davis

Starla Davis is originally from Dothan, and a graduate of Rehobeth High School. After obtaining her Associates in Science Degree from Wallace, she decided to move to California and finish school. Starla graduated with a degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is now dually registered in both Alabama and California with an expanded license in Periodontal Laser Therapy, Nitrous Oxide Administration, and Local Anesthesia. With seven years experience in the dental field, Starla handles patients with gentleness, professionalism, and compassion with all their dental needs. After spending almost ten years in northern California, and starting her amazing family, Starla decided to return home to Dothan. She has a beautiful baby boy who just turned one. In her free time, Starla and her loving husband enjoy fishing, Auburn and San Francisco 49ers football, and spoiling their son!

Suzanne Greenlee

Suzanne Greenlee knew early on that she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field. She enrolled and completed a dental assistant course in Warner Robins, Georgia. She became a Red Cross Volunteer so she could gain experience at the Air Force Base Dental Clinic. While assisting in this clinic, beginning with oral surgery, then crown and bridge, and finishing with endodontics and orthodontics, she gained a great overview of the entire dental field.

Returning to her home town of Birmingham, Alabama, and working as a dental assistant, she received her hygiene license from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (Alabama Dental Hygiene Program).

Now living in Dothan, Alabama, she is an experienced clinician with a solid background in the dental environment committed to the comfort and well being of patients. She likes to inform patients of the benefits of good oral hygiene, periodontal health, and proper cleaning and care.

In her off time she is a Certified Personal Trainer, and instructs aerobic classes with choreographed routines to meet multileveled student abilities.

She is a proud wife to her husband, who believes her greatest accomplishment is being a mother to her two daughters.
